Thank you to everyone that came and making it such a sweet night. Seven wines, a first peek at the new Monsoon Valley Muscat, and that cheeky 2011 vs. 2023 Petit Guiraud Sauternes twist.

🇮🇹🍷📝Our sales team enjoyed a fantastic tutored wine tasting yesterday, featuring the exceptional wines of and led by the wonderful .

 
🍇Founded over a century ago in the heart of Piedmont, the Forno family has spent four generations perfecting their craft, specialising in wines made form Barbera and Moscato. The vineyards are managed entirely by hand — from pruning through to harvest — with a strong focus on sustainability. They also produce wines made form Arneis, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir.

✈️Visits like this are invaluable. They strengthen the bonds between us and our suppliers, and give our team first‑hand insight into the wines, the vineyards, and the people behind them.

It’s been a year of hard work, learning curves, and exciting growth.

It has also been a year marked by the loss of our colleague and friend, Richard Jones. His passion, humour, and dedication are greatly missed.

A huge thank you to our wonderful customers and brilliant suppliers for your continued support.

Great to welcome back Luan from today and getting the opportunity to retaste some of the wines from their range. They are just as good if not better than we remembered! 🍷😋

🇿🇦 Bellevue Estate in Stellenbosch blends centuries of heritage with a fresh, modern winemaking spirit. Founded in the 1700s and home to one of South Africa’s first Pinotage plantings, the farm has become a landmark for character‑driven reds and elegant, expressive whites.
