How many reps are you doing — and are you really doing them?
You see a guy at the gym "bench pressing" 100 kg.

But his elbows barely drop to chest level. The bar bounces off his ribs. Range of motion — maybe 40%.
That's not a 100 kg bench press. That's theatre.

Science is brutal on this.

Research from the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research shows that muscle grows in proportion to time under tension through a full range of motion. Shortened range = shortened stimulus = shortened results.

Simply put: 10 reps with full range > 20 reps done halfway.

Michael Jordan once said something I apply every time I train:

"Never practice until you can do it right. Practice until you can't do it wrong."

Rep quality is everything.

What does that mean in practice?
🔹 Bench press — bar touches the chest. Every time.
🔹 Squats — hips below knees. Every time.
🔹 Pull-ups — full dead hang at the bottom. Every time.
🔹 Bicep curls — full stretch at the bottom. Every time.

If the weight doesn't allow full range — the weight is too heavy.

Leave your ego in the locker room. Bring your quality to the floor.

One perfect rep is worth more than ten done just for the count.

How many sets today? Doesn't matter.
How did you do them? That's the question.
