Morrisons Sittingbourne are running a raffle to help raise vital funds for Demelza. Prize located behind checkouts, £1 suggested donation to enter, please give all entries to kiosk colleagues. Raffle to be drawn 13th February... Thank you for your continued support

**COMMUNITY UPDATE**
Busy week last week as usual food banks supplied thanks to the generosity of our customers, you are so kind and it goes such a long way, supplied The Forward Trust who support period poverty with sanitary products, raffle prize to Iwade Primary School, bulbs and seeds to Oaks Primary for school for year 1. Also had Swale Community Care Project Group spending some of the vouchers they received from our Giving Tree at Christmas

**DEMELZA FUNDRAISING TOTAL**
Over the Christmas period we have raised a massive £649.50 with raffles, buckets, sweet bags sales and till donations. Thank you so much everyone

Well that's a wrap for Christmas in the community. I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody for their support throughout the year in raising money for the Demelza and dressing up and joining in with silly things that I planned. Lots of money has been raised with raffles and bucket collections and we are nearly at the £10,000 mark. This week all food banks have been supplied through donations, hamper prizes have been collected and the Salvation Army playing outside the shop...once again, thank you, much love 💕

From Monday 23rd October to Sunday 5th November we are bringing back a half term favourite and teaming up with Warburtons. Customers can get crumpets, butter and jam free of charge from our cafe when they "Ask Ellen" at the till point. Terms and conditions apply. Thank you

Forgot to post last week's shenanigans!...busy one as usual with food bank donations going out, thank you to all our customers for the continued support...I visited Swale Community Care Project Group to look at how this new charity is set up and what projects they have going forward, I also helped with making up food parcels that are gratefully received within the community. SNAP Fitness purchased fruit for a big fundraiser they had over the weekend and Morrisons also donated some. We have a good working relationship with this gym as they help us and support any fund raising we have within the store. Let's roll on with this week

**FOOD BANK DRIVE**
This week in store we are supporting local food banks more than ever on the run up to the summer holidays. The Cost of Living Crisis is affecting so many people and families. So please join us in tackling food, poverty and holiday hunger by purchasing one of our Pick Up Packs located at the Front of the store and by Self Service Tills, in doing so, you can earn 100 More Points or every Pick Up Pack you buy....why not buy 2 and earn double the points! Small donation of a raffle prize to St Peters Catholic Primary School in Sittingbourne for their school fate. This was made up from unwanted or unused toys/presents/gifts brought in to me from members of staff, so thank you for that. They were very grateful

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all involved with raising money for Together For Short Lives and Demelza. Our store total for Morrisons in Sittingbourne is £6517 (up until 30th April, so May is yet to go on). We are on track to smash our target, thank you so much. More fundraising coming up in the next few weeks 😁......thank you again
