Hangy McSignface has arrived courtesy of our friends at . Keep it local! They’ve done pretty much all of our signage since we opened and are brilliant.

Hangy McSignface Original we’re hoping is about to be discharged from the ‘retirement home for old hanging signs so we can hang him in his righteous place in the courtyard (or loo depending on space - he’s not fussy)

Either way, it’s great to get a sign up again. And for info, the culprits have been identified and are being dealt with. Wiltshire Police have been amazing.

Thank you so much to everyone for your support in bringing Hangy back. Or just having a joke with us. It wasn’t really funny but wait, you have to laugh sometimes right?

We have a rather large ticketed event in the Cathedral Cloisters on Friday evening so will have to close the shop early at 6pm. Sorry!

But we’re open until 8 on Thursday and Saturday so come and get your fix then instead!

It’s official!

We’re delighted to discover that we have been named a finalist in the super-prestigious International Wine Challenge Industry Awards 2026. It’s an absolute honour to be recognised among the best in the UK drinks industry so thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey - customers, suppliers and our wonderful team!

We’re up against some very tough and well-established competition for the single-site retailer of the year award so fingers crossed for the awards ceremony in London on 8th September. Best dig my heels out and book a haircut! 👠 🍷

Hangy McSignface is finally out of hospital. There wasn’t much they could do for him, he was ‘signed’ off as unfit to return to work so he’s now moved into a Retirement Home for Hanging Signs.

He’s living his best life though. Look at him, holding court in the communal area, slippers on, still sporting his signature Raybans, G&T in one hand, Cognac in the other.

We’re now open until 8pm on Thursdays from TODAY! So grab your mates and head down for a sneaky post-work drink. Only on...

Good job the Snapper Rock Marlborough Sauvignon Rosé and s back in stock and flowing. I mean, Marlborough Sauvignon AND rosé in one bottle . What’s not to love?
