Fake American and real St Albans local Bronwyn Sweeney (aka BronCom) has written an hour comedy / one-woman show. But she really needs to practice it in front of an actual audience. That’s where you come in. Join her at Cellar Door wines as Bronwyn combines two of her favourite things: wine 🍷 and comedy! This is a work-in-progress show which means you’ll be watching an unpolished show get tested live. Expect notes on stage, interactivity, laughs and maybe a tear or two?

Her show, Live, Laugh, Cry is an attempt to make some serious things funny so be warned the material will touch upon some sensitive topics.

Your £10 ticket includes a glass of fizz on arrival and savoury snacks. There are lots of amazing wines available to purchase by the glass or bottle.

Deep and concentrated on the nose, it opens up on the palate to reveal crisp cassis fruit with smoky edges and a hint of green pepper all hung on a ripe firm structure.

Aromatic, medium to full bodied and powerful, with good extraction of the sweet flavours of black ripe fruits. Elegant and textured tannins, giving wine great ageing potential. A touch of mint, with lavender notes. Firm, well balanced oak and long spicy finish.

🍷 Nieuwe Haarlem Pinotage 2023
Medium to full-bodied with vibrant blackberries, cherries and plums wrapped in espresso, mocha and dark chocolate tones. Silky tannins, balanced acidity and a long, smooth, coffee-chocolate finish.
