🍺 KIRBY. A B**R WITH MY NAME ON IT. FINALLY! 🍺

Growing up with an unusual name meant a lifetime of disappointment at petrol stations. 😂
Every time we stopped, I’d head straight for the keyrings, mugs and novelty gifts, scanning the racks for Kirby. Surely, one day, my name would make it onto something?!
It never did. 🥲
Fast forward to turning 40, and I’ve finally made it. Not a keyring. Not a mug. But an actual B**R. And I got to help brew it! 🍻
Introducing KIRBY, brewed in collaboration with the brilliant Baron Brewing and Cambridge W**e Royston. ❤️
And what a b**r it is!
🍍 The b**r: A soft, hazy pale ale at 5% ABV, brewed with New Zealand hops Nelson Sauvin and Tropical Fusion.
🌾 The feel: Oats and wheat give it that lovely, fluffy mouthfeel, with a gentle hot-side hop addition keeping the bitterness low.
🍍 The flavour: Fermented with WHC’s Pineapple Passion yeast for an explosion of tropical character, then generously dry-hopped for an extra burst of flavour.
In short, a soft, hazy, tropical little beauty.
Turns out, the secret to getting your name on something is to turn 40 and brew your own b**r. 😂
Little Kirby, who spent years searching petrol station gift shops, would absolutely lose her mind over this. ❤️🍺
