☺️ Some will say that the past year was bad or hard, some will say the opposite. But the past year should be perceived not as something bad or good, but as an experience. This is the wisdom that cannot be given or bought for money, this is the thing that can be exchanged only for time ⌛️. This is the wisdom that is earned by human energy ⚡️

May this experience allow us to develop, to reach our goals, to progress in all our endeavors even faster. Do not betray your dreams and goals, make plans, visualize how you achieve them. The best is yet to come 🤩

Hi hope everyone is well, just a little update. Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of their control the new owners will not be opening as planned this Sunday but a week on Sunday with a brand new store and offerings for one and all.

To each and every person who came today. We have just sat down as a family to open the cards and read your well wishes.

We as a family are really so lucky that we were blessed with so many lovely friends. We will cherish each and every moment that we have shared with you all.

In time I will reply to everyone who has commented or messaged me. For now though this is just a see you later and not good bye. I WILL ALWAYS be a text message away and still help in anyway we can.

So the journey has finally come to an end!

Today will be a day filled with rollercoaster emotions but we would like to see as many people as possible today to say our temporary farewells because no matter what the imprints left in our hearts will never go away.

Please if you can find 5/10 minutes to pop in and see us we would love that and we also will for the last time have my wife’s famous onion bhajis available.

Right here goes!!

Probably one of the hardest and emotional things I have written.

Most of you have probably been aware or know that we were going to be leaving the shop. Unfortunately that day has arrived sooner rather than later and this Saturday the 15th of November will be our last day.

We want to thank each and every one of you who welcomed us back on the 1st of November 1999 and have been with us through the highs and the lows. Although far far more highs than lows.

We have seen parents become grandparents and people who were born after we moved here now becoming parents themselves.

We have been lucky enough to support so many good causes and charities and local schools and clubs for which we always be thankful to each and everyone of you because without you we wouldn’t be able to do that.

We have made friends from all walks of life and we will cherish the moments we have had with them in and outside of the shop.

Challenges thrown at us as a family is the main reason we have had to reassess lifes priorities and put family first, create even more memories and be able to have time away as a family.

As a result of that the journey has come to an end, we would love to see as many of our friends from now and especially on Saturday to say our temporary goodbyes because for those of you who have my number or are friends on fb I will always be there to help as I and my family have been for the last 26 years.

Feeling so humbled!! Guess you can’t keeo a secret in the shop business lol.

The amount of shop keepers coming up to me to thank me and wish me and my family all the best has blown me away!!

I may not be the biggest name or the busiest store owner but one thing I have done is always be there to help others.
