One of our all time favourite IPAs and a definite cult classic; Spur is back on our taps! If you haven't tried it before it's a 7.2% hazy hop bomb of a beer with lashings of fruit salad flavour that will definitely get your weekend off to a flying start!

Alongside that we've got a couple of fantastic pales on from , the sublime pistachio and honeycomb milk stout from and of course our house lager from .

Its going to be a scorcher today, our table is out front and we're pouring ice cold beers!

We've got an epic IPA collaboration between and Australian legends that is tasting sublime. It's no mystery why a tiny little brewery in Lewes is so highly regarded on the international beer scene and always exciting to see which foreign top-tier brewery they're going to bring to these shores next.

Alongside that we've got a fantastic hazy pale from the masters at and the last of their Goldtop; Overturn, when it's gone it's gone!

If you like your dark beers we've got a strong one on at the moment but one of our all time favourites; Woodland Creatures by , if you know you know.

And we couldn't go into a weekend this sunny without our house lager from . We've just had three barrels dropped off this morning, let's see how much is left next week!

If like us you were obsessed with the choose your own adventure books by Ian Livingstone when you were a youngster then you'll think it's very cool that and have released a couple of collabs based on the concept.

Both breweries started with identical hops hand picked from the same harvest and decided to make a hazy double IPA. Turn to Hidden Volumes to choose the LHG path or turn to The Doorway Effect to choose Verdant!

Which path leads to victory!

The sun is shining, we've got our table and chairs out front and we're pouring a superb 3.4% pale from those wizards over .

We spend a lot of time here at Wolfe & Castle shouting about big punchy strong beers but we also have an enormous amount of appreciation for a brewery that can cram bucket loads of body and flavour into a really low abv brew And Beak have done exactly that here, juicy and hoppy and very sessionable, this is a great one to drink in the sunshine.

Alongside that we've also got the last of Space Fortress, a dank hazy hop bomb of an IPA from , the very drinkable dry stout; Fast Gary from , a typically superb DIPA from and of course our house lager from .

Spanish showcase is finally on!

After a little courier trouble we're now pouring all three beers on draught and have cans in the fridge.

All three are tasting fantastic as you'd expect. Super hazy, jam packed with New Zealand hops and bursting at the seams with fruit flavours, this is a very impressive series of beers. And lovely to have three of the finest Spanish breweries on our taps side by side; and

If you're not so into super juicy pales we've also got a fantastic dry porter from and of course our house lager from .

The one everyone was waiting for!

Gloop was first brewed as a super small batch special for an event at Joule in Manchester in 2025. It caused quite a buzz and clocked up a pretty phenomenal score on untappd so had a big chunk of the craft beer scene begging VC to rebrew it with a wider release this year.

And here it is. Pouring thick and rich, just like alcoholic brownie batter, if you ever wanted to know what the chocolate river in w***y wonkas factory tasted like with added booze this is most surely it!

Currently scored 4.61 on untappd, we have a very limited number of cans available in the fridge now. They will sell fast!

Two of our favourite breweries come together once a year to make an IPA each, in a similar style and with hops that complement each other. The idea being the beers can be enjoyed separately or mixed together.

Saturday 18th April we're pouring 's Spanish showcase.

Three collaborations with three of the best Spanish breweries across three of our taps; Pale, IPA and DIPA.

The scale is not linear - 5% pale -
Tastes how the label looks - 6% IPA -
Saturated in Soma - 8% DIPA -

All three pouring on draught Saturday 18th from opening and available in cans.

The first three beers from this year's Operation Genome by have landed and they are already causing a storm on untappd!

Designed to push the limits of flavour and texture through experimental brewing techniques, each beer in this series focuses on "going big!"

Genome 26.01 - - 6% Smoothie Sour - untappd 4.43
