Sunday sessions….
Autumn vibes incoming! Popped into Turners Of Rishworth this morning and Martin prepared this gorgeous first rib of sirloin for me. I was planning on cooking it on the bbq but the rain put paid to that. Either way… it was always going to accompanied by the full works.
It did not disappoint, packed full of flavour and unbelievably tender. 👌🏻
In the glass is a proper warming red that has been a huge hit on the by the glass list. From Mendoza, Argentina Bodega Los Haroldos Gran Corte. A blend of 7 different grape varieties, listed by their initials on the label; Cab Sauv, Merlot, Malbec, Bonarda, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Tannat. Every one of them plays their part in this big, bold spicy red. Sweet fruit, spicy notes, vanilla from the oak and perfect tannins.
A superb pairing to the beef. A delicious Sunday all round.
