I spent about half an hour down at the War Memorial from 0815 this morning just to see how things were going with the new setup and it was clear at the time there were several issues:

The lack of advance signage of the new setup was causing issues at the right turn from Inchinnan Rd and the Hairst St/Paisley Rd setup with drivers unsure what was happening.

Parking on the double/single yellows prior to the bus stop markings across from the Highland Star is likely going to be an issue.

Some work was needed on the Inchinnan Rd timings (and therefore likely Glebe St at the end of the day) with the traffic being tailed back to the Normandy when I went that way at about 0850.

The crossing phase is quite short.

I spoke to the Head of Roads, and they have accepted there should have been signage; it apparently was planned but hasn't appeared. I suggested chevrons on either side of the crossing across from the Highland Star which they tell me they are going to do, they should probably have been there in the first place. They are also going to look at the timings and adjust as required.
