Hello Everyone
This is Arun from south merstham office. I saw someone called Jane Pearson put a post up regarding me today.
I would like to clarify somethings in this group regarding the issues people have posted.
As you all know it's Christmas time and it's a busy period. The amount of people send parcels to be kept in our shop for collection are high, including big parcels and small parcel. We have 267 parcels in pending to be collected from our branch. Some are old as 3 weeks. All I asked Miss Jane Pearson was to collect it soon as possible next time. As her parcel was in our shop for the past 10 days. Apparently she thinks because we have a post office she can talk to me how ever way she wants.
Next there was a comment past by some one called Leigh Simkins saying I have stole her £10. When I counted the cash I counted it in front her and she also agreed. You have to remember before accusing like that think twice because I have proof you are on our camera.
The reason we initially took post office was because alot of elderly people came asked us to take post office as they are struggling to go to Redhill. Also councillors Frank was also looking for someone to take over to help community so we agreed. People don't know the hardship we go through because of this Post office. We get harrased,threatened, abused. The reason we started asking people to come in to the post office one at a time is because people who wait inside for either post office service or shop started stealing stuff. In the end its me who is loosing money.
Also people are saying Post office is paying us so we have to do everything, I would like to say the shop is mine,but post office it's a commission only. I only get pennies for parcels but we still do it because for the community. I have been in merstham for a long time and I respect all my customers but I expect the same respect.
My shop is important for me as that's my living but if people are not happy with the post office as its creating lots of misunderstandings then let me know, I am happy to close the post office. I am waiting to hear everyones feed back regarding the post office closing. I can just continue running my business like before with everyone's support.
Also people remember before accusing me of things, I have proof for everything.
