We have news ✨

Ever since we opened in the Longfield Centre nearly 6 years ago we’ve been asked (almost daily) “what are you going to do when all this gets knocked down?”.

Until recently the short answer had been “we don’t know”. When we started this adventure, we knew that the Longfield was not going to be a forever home for our business but it allowed us to test the waters to see if our idea worked. We never imagined how well we’d be received and in the last 6 years demand has meant we’ve even doubled in size.

With the redevelopment of the Longfield Centre becoming closer to being a reality, we’ve been hard at work for the last 18 months exploring locations and opportunities that would allow us to keep KCB trading in Prestwich.

Some were non starters, some looked hopeful but didn’t work out, but now we are thrilled to reveal that we are taking on the premises at 424 Bury New Road which was formally the site of Gorge.

We will be spending some time making alterations to the site, including upgrading the beer cellar, to ensure the quality and variety of beers and drinks we offer stays as good as you’ve come to expect.

We will relocate to the new premises later in the year but meanwhile it’s business as usual in the Longfield.

Ever wanted to learn more about Belgian beer and the art of blending some of the best Lambic ales in the world? Who better to better to tell us all about it than Timmermans Beers - the oldest Lambic Brewery in the world!

Join us for a fascinating evening where Anouchka from Timmermans will be telling us all about the fascinating history of the brewery and delicate art of brewing and blending Lambic beers.

We will be pouring a range of Timmermans famously fruity beers and there will be a few special tasters of rare and unusual bottles from the Timmermans cellars.
