Absolutely beautiful white from @domainejones purchased from @fareham_wine_cellar made in the South of France from an English wine maker.
Lots of depth and flavour for a delicious white perfect for a sunny afternoon like we’ve had today. Would recommend 100%

Today I visited @hambledon_vineyard to check out their new visitors centre and restaurant and I was super impressed. You can get premium cuvées by the glass for £15 which were absolutely delicious.
They have a good wines by the glass list with a great selection of wines from around the world - we sampled the Douro Red from @symingtonfamilyestates which took me back to being in Porto.
They offer a set menu with a choice of 2 or 3 courses from £32.50 which is excellent value for the quality of food served. The chilli beef with Asian slaw was amazing as was the salmon to start.
They’ve done a great job of creating a premium vineyard experience similar to those in South Africa and I think when summer comes it will be the perfect place to go and dine while looking over the vines 🍷🥂

The most amazing weekend, eating and drinking our way through Bruges.
An incredible brewery experience at the @dehalvemaanrijswijk brewery with @brugse_zot beer as our taster followed by a 3 course meal of croquettes, stoofrites & cheese and of course more beer and even a Belgium wine (who knew such a thing existed)
Then we came across a lovely natural wine bar called @lucy_winebar (obviously the best name for a wine bar) that served a selection of tapas and natural wines from Europe. The owner was lovely, WSET qualified and had some really good stuff on the menu including a Spanish white called Isabelle.

I don’t drink a lot of German wine but this took my fancy in @marksandspencerfood and to try something new for under £10 I thought I’d give it a try.
It was crisp, dry but with lots of stone fruit and a touch of nuttiness. We had it with a Chinese takeaway which went really well but it would be a nice drink on its own!
