One more sleep until Liquorice Festival! 🍬🍭

Find us this Sunday at our stall on Market Place, where we've got our exclusive Pontefract Liquorice Stout for sale. Brewed with real liquorice root and all natural ingredients, it's on absolute top form this year! We'll also have a selection of the best beers from Germany, Belgium and local UK craft breweries.

New for this year, we’re also unveiling two ultra-limited, small-batch gems - a Pontefract Liquorice Old Tom Gin, layered with local blackcurrants and a host of handpicked liquorice-loving botanicals as well as a Pontefract Liquorice and Blackcurrant Spiced Rum, distilled with juicy blackcurrants, sweet liquorice and hints of dessert spice. Grab them while stocks last!

The bottleshop and bar will also be open from 10am, buy where you can buy to take away or stay and enjoy our Liquorice Gin, Liquorice Rum and Liquorice Stout on tap!

🚨 WE HAVE MOVED OUT OF PONTEFRACT MARKET HALL! 🚨

Our bottleshop has moved into the bar on Mauds Yard, so everything’s under one roof! You’ll still find the same extensive range of PerfectDraft kegs and 200-plus cans and bottles to drink in or take away. The bar is open six days a week too, pouring from eight rotating draught taps alongside wines, ciders and spirits.

We’ve not gone far - look for us opposite Cromwells half-way down the alley between Christopher Brown Jewellers and Headhunters Salon on Market Place.

A massive thank you to everyone who’s supported us in the Market Hall over the last four years. We’ll miss it, but we can’t wait to welcome you to our new home on Mauds Yard! 🍺
