With Spring Fling this weekend, we wanted to highlight one of our own local artists, the lovely Susie Niven, whose colourful creations can be found in our village shop! We also have work by other amazing local creators.

Why not nip in for a browse and a cuppa at Flounders Community Cafe, Palnackie while you head through the area to see the many amazing artists on the Orange and Pink routes.

Happy Monday Everyone.

Today I thought I would show you our stock sections and how well stocked we are.

We stock a wide selection of Soft Drinks, Alcohol, A freezer full of the essentials and frozen treats, Two chiller fridges with meat and dairy products from our amazing local suppliers and top brands.

Newspapers and magazines provided daily.

Lots of cheese, milk, yoghurt, chilled food to go, Galloway cheese.

TH Carsons butchers, Barry’s Butchers
Torr Organic Dairy Fresh Organic milk, Saucy Desserts.

Moving onto the bread section, we stock white and wholemeal bread, seeded loaves, fresh rolls from express bakery, Irving biscuits from Castle Douglas, and fresh tasty eggs from
the award winning Auchtralure Eggs, they are proud to provide only the best quality eggs to the retail and hospitality industries, and we wouldn't source our eggs from anywhere else.

We then have a good tinned product selection, deserts, home baking, tea and coffees.

Also we have some fantastic arts and crafts products from local artists and makers.

Our household selection of a good range of items at very reasonable prices.

Fruit and veg is well catered for with good priced items fresh to you.

We pride ourselves using upto 50% of local suppliers, more if we can source lines at a good price.

Our prices have even been lower than the Local supermarkets in our neighbouring towns on lots of lines, showing that using Local independent shops can be better value than big brand shops.

Monday to Wednesday 0830am to 1pm

Thursday to Sunday 0830am to 3pm

We can do takeaway hot drinks 7 days a week when shop is open, with regular coffee mornings each week, with home baked scones available most days.

We also have a great Flounders Community Cafe, Palnackie attached to our shop here in Palnackie, open Thursday to Sunday 10am to 3pm, with a 20% discount on takeaway orders from the cafe.

We welcome new visitors to our village, and thank all our existing customers as well.
