Domaine St Andre Folie d’Ines Rose

Shaped by the elements, Folie d’Ines Rose is born on the Mediterranean Coast, a few hundred meters from the Thai Lagoon

Very pale salmon pink in the glass. The nose is very elegant, with delicate aromas of fresh raspberry and strawberries. Hints of rose petal. The palate displays a lively start. The rich mid-palate of offers a delicious fruity sensation, with a long expressive finish and mineral notes. 🌹

Perdido translates as ‘lost’ and, as you’ll see from the label, refers to ‘lost in space’. It’s a superb quality, easy drinking Tempranillo from the 3 Riberas Denomination lying south of the Pyrenees and bordering the Rioja Region.

Produced by the well-renowned Principe de Navarra under the direction of the fabulous winemaker Pablo Pavez, this is jam packed with dark, ripe fruit - damsons, blackcurrant and blueberry and incredibly soft and juicy.

Awarded 90 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards this is a delicious ripe fruity everyday drinking red which we highly recommend - so why not give it a whirl and get “lost” in this superb Tempranillo, currently in the shop at only £9.99🍷👩‍🚀

Domaine St Andre Terroir Maritime Rouge 🍷

This gorgeous red is savoury and juice with hints of gooseberries and blackcurrant, laced with garrigue. The tannins are silky and smooth with a supplemental structure, along with a fruit forward style.

Spring is in the air 💕 The perfect time for this stunning Tete-A-Tate Terret Blanc.
Chablis of the south - if you know, you know…

Terret Blanc is one of those very localised grape varieties that you only find in the Languedoc. Planted in vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean oyster beds of the Basin de Thau - prime Picpoul territory - this ancient variety does share a few similarities.

It’s lively with a rounded mid-palate offering citrus flavours, a little salinity and a tight mineral finish 💛

With four gold medals to its name including a prestigious Decanter “Best Value” Gold Medal, Chevalier Delaude 2022 is of exceptional quality and is authentic Languedoc.

Recently enjoyed by Tom Surgey, who commented, “Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre; bold, moreish, delicious. I ‘blind’ tasted it to guess the grapes and blend - and nailed it - testament to it really tasting like it’s varieties. Quintessential Southern French stuff.”

At 15% ABV, this is not for the faint hearted but it is so beautifully constructed with such poised equilibrium that you simply don’t notice!

The small, fourth-generation family-owned estate of Chateau Moulin de Mallet sits in Pujol near St Emilion overlooking the Dordogne, and is owned by the warmly effusive Serge Couderc.

This château has been the source of our leading ‘Every Day Claret’ for a number of years and provides exceptional quality at a very attractive price. Always very expressive, it screams ripe black fruit aromas on the bouquet, whilst the palate is brimming with succulent mulberry and plum fruits, supported by a soft, underpinning tannin structure.

The 2020 was recently enjoyed by Victoria Moore, who described it as “a claret with a lot of matter in it, a very reassuring vibe and a nice rinse of acidity - what some would call ‘proper wine’.”
