We will be closing at 17:00 today as we have to do our year end stock take.

Delivery driver required

7 mornings a week. Happy to split this between two/three people if required normally takes about 2 -3 hours.

This would include deliveries in the Bridestowe and our new Lewdown customers.

Start hours would be from 06:30 - 07:30 depending on the days. You would need to use your own vehicle for which we offer a very generous petrol/Diesel allowance and an hourly rate

Evening.

There is strong possibility that we will have to fail the rounds again tomorrow and possibly further, due the very harsh road conditions that our drivers have faced over the last few day.

With the forecast predicting to get worse please bear with us and stay safe.

UPDATE:

ALL DELIVERIES HAVE BEEN ABANDONED. OUR APOLOGIES, BUT OUR DRIVERS SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT.

Due to the roads being very icy, our New Year’s Day paper deliveries will be delayed until it is safe for our drivers to go out.

To all our customers this morning. It’s very dangerous out there with sheet ice. We take the safety of our drivers as a priority and at this time have advised them to stay at home. If it thaws we will endeavour to deliver your papers etc otherwise there will be no delivery today.

Apologies to all that don’t receive a delivery today but hope you’ll understand why. Thank you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT DELIVERIES TOMORROW 09/12/25

Due to the AMBER weather warning for tomorrow morning, we have instructed our drivers not to commence the delivery rounds until after 09:00.

This is to protect them and ourselves should any issues arise from doing the rounds.

Delivery driver required

We are looking for a delivery driver, 2-4 mornings per week, about 2 -3 hours.

This would include deliveries in the Bridestowe and our new Lewdown customers.

Hours would be from 06:00-30 - 08:30 depending on the days. You would need to use your own vehicle for which we offer a very generous petrol/Diesel allowance of 40p per mile and an hourly rate based on the minimum wage.

Please let us know if you can help out.
