"Hey, look at this..." 👀🍾

That’s how Tom Gilbey kicked things off when he visited Domaine Evremond (by Taittinger), the English sparkling wine that seriously impressed him - and we’re delighted to say we’ve got it on our shelves.

Tom’s usually the guy championing supermarket wines under a tenner, so when he gets excited about an English sparkling wine made in the traditional Champagne method, you know it’s something special.

Domaine Evremond is everything you want in a proper glass of fizz:

Awww that's a nice one 😍 after a total fail with euromillions lottery 😂

Congratulations to Jean-Pierre, winner of the competition to name the Knipoch House Hotel 's new Brasserie. Watch this space for the launch of 'Foreshore'. Jean-Pierre wins a £100 dining voucher presented by General Manager Andreas.

Due to foreseen circumstances entirely within our control (read: laziness, caffeine dependency, and a spiritual need to remain horizontal), we are NOT Open today.

We regret nothing.

☕ Drink coffee until it’s acceptable to switch to wine
🛏️ Fall back into bed mid-task
📺 Watch something terrible out of spite
😴 Snooze like it’s an Olympic sport

We’ll reopen once we’ve reassessed our life choices (or run out of snacks). Probably Wednesday. See you then.
