De:Fine branded red wine glasses are back in and can be bought individually at £15 a glass or £50 for a box of four. If you grab a 4 pack, you can have 10% off a bottle of wine or 15% off a mix six case.

The pros and cons of sampling so much wine... 🍾

Ever the professionals, we don't sup all the bottles that we get sent to try. Instead, we can poach some lovely halibut in Champagne, make a classic beurre blanc sauce from it too, and then serve it up as a weekend special!

Yours to try tonight and tomorrow. Few high tables remain this evening and some spots for lunch and early evening on Saturday.

Delighted to share the news that we've been included in the Good Food Guide, following recommendations from readers (thank you!) and an anonymous visit from one of their reviewers.

One of just 8 restaurants in Cheshire to make the cut, we're very proud that the efforts of our head chef Richard Rowley, his kitchen team and the front of house crew have been recognised, just in time to celebrate our 25th anniversary!

Following on from the popularity of Steve's creation last week, we're going to knock up a monthly goodie box of deli treats, meats, cheese and wine that you can take home and save yourself cooking*! Or, if you're a kind soul, you can always have it in a hamper to gift to anyone you like.

4 cheeses, 2 meats, 2 bottles of wine and a box of crackers - £50!

There is also a smaller version available - price dependant on wine choice.

Yesterday, we bid a maternal farewell to our Hilary as she heads off to prepare for the arrival of baby girl number 2! Never fear, the deli and restaurant floor are still in safe hands but we'll definitely miss her and we can't wait to welcome her back with baby in arms 🩷

PORTUGUESE TASTING 🇵🇹🍷

We’ve banged the Portuguese drum for as long as we’ve been drumming and it seems finally people are starting to rock to the beat! Some wonderful flavours, textures and unpronounceable grape varieties to discover- a proper treasure trove. A fine gentleman by the name of Raymond Reynolds has been our favourite source of Portuguese beauty over the years and we’re delighted to welcome him for what promises to be an evening of great deliciousness and wonder.

Wednesday 23rd July. 7pm. £30pp.

We’ll taste through 8 different wines, heading from north to south, with a few ‘petiscos’ thrown in for good measure (pasteis de bacalhao, bifanas and some Portuguese cheese).

Morning Madeleines, Matcha and More ☕🍵🥐

A few more additions to our coffee & pastry offering. Chef's are knocking up fresh Madeleines on the hour alongside a pretty epic brownie and a proper sticky flapjack! We've also added a Matcha Latte to keep up with the kids and anyone else who enjoys it for that matter.

Available from 10am Wednesday-Saturday and from 11am on Sundays. We're also open on Tuesday's for drinks but without the sweet treats.
