Two stunners from Glasshouse brewery you need in your fridge…

Poppies is 6.0% with that unmistakeable fluffy GlassHouse IPA body. Loaded with Nectaron (you know we love it), Mosaic and Simcoe. Bags of peach, nectarine and stone fruit, backed with a splash of pine and a touch of mango

Daisies Pale Ale. Crushable 4.2% pale. Soft, juicy, and full of flavour. Dry hopped with El Dorado, Idaho 7 and Amarillo. Fleshy orange, with a big whiff of pineapple on the nose. Tropical juice to follow.

🍻 BIG milestone for us at The Beer Garage 🍻

Back when we first discovered craft beer around 10 years ago, it was Cloudwater Brew Co's DIPA series that completely changed the game for us. Bold flavours, huge hop character, and beers that showed us just how exciting craft beer could be.

Fast forward to today… and they’ve just dropped DIPA v20 🚀

It feels pretty special to still be enjoying the series that helped start our whole craft beer journey in the first place. From v1 to v20, Cloudwater continue to push boundaries and remind us why we fell in love with independent beer.

If you’re into juicy, hazy, hop-forward DIPAs, this is an absolute must-try 👀🍺

Introducing the much awaited Operation Genome [26.04] Imperial Stout.

Brewed with imperial stout wizard’s 3 Sons Brewing Co., this heavyweight collab layers rich bourbon-soaked oak over waves of dark cacao and smooth vanilla. Toasted coconut runs through the middle, adding sweetness and depth without tipping too far dessert-like.

Full-bodied, velvety and warming, with deep roasted character balanced by lingering coconut finish. Big, bold and built for slow sipping.

FLUX returns! For Phases 4, 5 & 6, Verdant worked with Track Brewing Co to brew all three beers using a fresh trio: Citra, NZH-106, and NZH-109. Each beer utilises a consistent 60:20:20 dry-hop ratio of all three hops, but the star player shifts with every phase:

- FLUX Phase 4: An NZH-109 heavy Pale Ale in all its pungent tropical funky glory. Citrus and fuel notes hover in the background in this soft, pillowy and rambunctious pale!

- FLUX Phase 5: A Citra-driven IPA, bringing strong notes of mango and grapefruit alongside more complex New Zealand hedgerow notes and hidden tropical gems. Classy and decadent.

- FLUX Phase 6: A DIPA that lets NZH-106 off the leash! This experimental hop is the daughter of Riwaka and doesn't shy away from those crazy diesel notes that blend into squishy fruits of all descriptions. This is a big, boisterous romp of a beer!

Polly’s rejoice….

It feels as though there’s a new hype hop that lands on our radars almost weekly here at Polly’s and we absolutely live for it. With hop farming as progressive as it’s ever been, there has literally never been a better time to be a hop-forward brewery and we’re honoured to be part of a community that is lucky enough to work with the products the best producers are creating year on year. Superdelic is the latest to have landed on our radar and if a hop could check every box then this would be it.

From the wizards at NZ Hops, this variety was concentrated and carefully bred over the course of literally years to express only the most potent sweet fruit characteristics; specifically raspberries, sweet candy and overripe mango. What better to execute this incredible hop in then than a straight up, all out Polly’s IPA? Delicious from start to finish.
