Well I did it, ran the Ards half marathon in 2 hours and 5 minutes which seemed at the time to just be one never ending hill! Thank you to all of you who have donated and helped me raise money. I’m going to keep the page open for another few days so please anything at all would help hugely and there is still collection buckets in both the shop and Comber Pet Stores!

Hi there! I have decided to run the Ards Half Marathon on the 27th June on behalf of Combat Stress (and for my own punishment). The 27th June is also PTSD awareness day.

This is a wonderful charity very close to my heart. They provide specialist treatment and support for veterans in Northern Ireland and the UK from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues resulting from their experiences during military service.

I’m eternally grateful for any donation you can afford to support our veterans who have given so much for us. There is also buckets in store and pet shop if you wish to donate in person and laugh at me!
