WE’RE HIRING – PART TIME SHOP ASSISTANT

We’re looking for a reliable and friendly Part-Time Cashier & Shop Assistant to join our team!

Duties will include:
• Serving customers on the till
• Providing excellent customer service
• Shelf filling and stock rotation
• General cleaning duties
• Keeping the shop tidy and well presented

Hours:
• Afternoon shifts
• Weekend availability essential

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔ Friendly and approachable
✔ Reliable and punctual
✔ Happy to work as part of a team
✔ Hard-working with a positive attitude

Retail experience is preferred but not essential – full training will be given.

If you have a dark haired boy wearing a black tracksuit with white sleeves riding a bike please can you let him know that it’s not good to steal. We have had a lot of trouble with a gang of children on bikes today. Please if you think they are your children have a word with them.

It’s been a while, so I thought I’d do a little re-introduction post 🫶🏼

My name is Beth (Bess or Bessie to my nearest and dearest).
I’m a Welsh girl living in the heart of the Cotswolds, mum to Siena Rose and fiancée.

Hobbies include binge watching cheesy tv shows, listening to audio books, the odd gym session and eating lots of good food! 🐷

I established The Cotswold Cake Lady in May 2024, shortly after the birth of my daughter… left my day job as a Project Manager, and never looked back!

I primarily make wholesale bakes for local small businesses but my passion is the fun and creative element of celebration cakes- particularly children’s birthday cakes!

If I can help you celebrate a birthday, engagement, christening or wedding (or just make you a cake for no particular reason) please pop me a DM and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!

Due to the ongoing drought conditions and the increased risk of wildfires, we have made the decision to 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞.

We appreciate that these are popular products, particularly during the summer, but we feel that this is the responsible thing to do given the current conditions.
