About Us

Watts News is an independent, family run newsagents based in Waterfoot, Rossendale, Lancashire. Established in 1969 by Jim Watts and now owned by his son, Adrian. The store stocks newspapers, to***co, alcohol, sweets, The National Lottery, Health Lottery and groceries as well as stationery and miscellaneous items such as will holders, scissors, shoe laces and birthday candles. Watts News also runs a newspaper delivery service covering Waterfoot, Newchurch and Cloughfold. Watts News has the largest range of magazines anywhere in Rossendale and virtually any magazine available in the UK (and many from the US and Europe) can be ordered for collection. Watts News also sells tickets for The Rossendale Players theatre located just up the road. Burnley FC and Rochdale FC lotteries can be played here and Rigby's Coach trips booked directly though the shop. They also provide photocopying (5p black and white) and fax services.
