Earlier this month, at our Newcastle HQ, we held a fundraiser to help raise money for the people in Turkey and Syria, following the devasting earthquakes. Hundreds of buildings have been destroyed and survivors are now facing freezing conditions and need urgent aid.

Here's what our team got up to:

The Big Swap! - we invited everyone to have a clear out and bring in their old clothes and homeware items that they no longer want and held a mini market where our team could donate Β£5 to participate. Everything left over was donated to St Vincents, a community support project helping people in the North East. πŸ‘—

Bakes & Cakes - To make sure we were all fed and watered for the Big Swap, we held a bake sale in the office where our team made donations in exchange for homemade treats. 🍰

Raffle - £5 for a raffle entry. A great way to get all our friends and family involved too and hopefully win a prize hamper! (local business vouchers were up for grabs). 🎫

Lets Run; Turkey - Syria - The challenge is to run 59 miles, the distance between the two earthquakes, in the month of May. πŸƒ

We've successfully raised Β£411, huge well done for everyone for getting involved!
