They say good things come in Threes......today has been my favourite day in my Speedway life for a long long time. As luck would have it, I just happened to be in the same place as 2 gentlemen who I have such admiration for, who I have hoped to bump into again for many years. 1 of the guys in this picture....it's been 12 years and 1 month since we last shared a pint and a chat together............ so the 3 things....
1 - I won the 50/50 raffle at Berwick Speedway tonight, and was able to donate the winnings instantly to The Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund.
2 - Brady Kurtz won another Speedway GP, making the World Championship very much within his reach - imagine that, if he goes all the way, a senior Speedway Individual World Champion stood on the podium in a S.F.Racewear suit.
3 - The absolute best bit by a country mile. Having a natter, and a pint with Dave and Ricky Ashworth. I felt so happy and relieved to finally see them both. For a short while tonight I was in the company of 2 of the finest men I have the pleasure to know through this sport - and my soul felt better in their presence.

As we are just about to enter the last week of July, before our annual August shutdown - we have an eye firmly on the future. We always think it's best to divulge any information that we have as a business, that may impact our customers future planning. We have already given indication of future pricing to our existing club customers. We will publish our full price list this coming Friday. The prices will come into effect on November 1st 2025. More or less there will be an increase across the board of 25%
We could write thousands of words to explain why we have had to take the drastic measures that we have - but the long and short of it, is that the bespoke manufacturing business in the uk has become a very expensive undertaking. Labour, energy, rental, consumables have all increased massively over the last 5 years, and we have done all that could be reasonably expected, and more to absorb these. To secure the longer term stability of our business, and the services that it provides, we have been left with no option other than redress the financial imbalances by implementing a price rise.
Please keep a look out on Friday for the full price list. And again, thanks for your support for so many years, here's hopefully to many more.

Everyone loves to give fancy names to things.... so let's call this....Motion ST Ultra AJ.
A suit here for Jake Mulfords SGP2 series. In a slightly different colour scheme to Jakes usual kit, this suit is made entirely from our DK685 material, with 3 regularly located ergonomic stretch panels. It also has a further 6 strategically located stretch panels to accommodate the activation of Jakes Helite Air vest, should he become detached from his motorcycle.
Good luck to Jake in the SGP2 series beginning next week.

Little did we know about a month ago when we finished this suit, that less than 4 weeks later it would be worn to victory in a GP. Brady Kurtz is a quiet, polite, switched on, friendly and unassuming guy - couldn't ask for much more in a customer. His success has been very hard worked for, and very much deserved. It's quite humbling to have someone at his level keeping his bike in front of every one whilst rocking one of our costumes!

We've always strived to constantly improve here at SF - and when something comes along that can make our product better, then we test, and adopt as quickly as possible.
We've been really impressed by the results, performance, and feedback of the new suit material that we began using in the latter part of 2024. With this in mind, we have decided to discontinue with immediate effect the Original suit material that has served us well for the last almost 10 years. For June and July we will be upgrading all Origin and Origin ST suit orders to be Motion or Motion ST at no extra cost. After August shutdown, we return to work in September, and the Origin options will be removed from the price list.
There are other significant price changes coming later this year, and we will let you know of these well in advance of them coming into effect.
For now, please do take advantage of our suit upgrade offer that runs for June and July, we do have manufacturing slots available throughout both months.
