Every day the space sharpens into the shop we’ve imagined. With the shelves dressed, the counter in place, and the Moldovan hand‑woven carpet now hanging with pride, we’re firmly into the final stages.

The last pieces are underway — the bar area taking shape, the kitchen being fitted for our small‑plates pairing menu — and the atmosphere is beginning to feel real.

Not long now. Newark’s new wine shop and bar is almost ready to open its doors.

And just like that — our very first wine tasting at is complete.
An evening of bold flavours, Lebanese warmth, and glasses filled with character from across Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight and helped make this new partnership feel instantly special. We can’t wait to host many more evenings like this — great wine, great food, great company.

Every major piece is now in place.
The space finally feels like a wine shop rather than a worksite, and this next week is all about the details — the finishes, the touches, the small decisions that make a room feel considered rather than completed.

There’s still plenty to do, but the end is now firmly in sight, and the excitement is building with every shelf, every crate, every bottle that finds its home.

Thank you for following the journey so closely. Opening day is getting very close.
