Hi, I’m Kirsty! 👋
I’m 33, a proud mum to two beautiful girls, and the owner of Kirsty’s Bakes. While on maternity leave, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own baking business — because apparently having two children wasn’t keeping me busy enough already! 🙈
Baking has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember (along with eating cake, of course! 🍰). After years of making cakes and sweet treats for friends and family, I finally took the plunge in October and turned that passion into a business of my own.
Fast forward 8 months…
It certainly hasn’t all been plain sailing. There have been a few bumps in the road, some baking disasters, and even a few tears along the way. But thanks to your incredible support, I’m now fulfilling orders, stocking two retailers each week, and preparing for upcoming events — and I couldn’t be prouder of how far Kirsty’s Bakes has come in such a short time. 💕
Behind the scenes, it’s just me — baker, pot washer, admin assistant, social media manager, packer, labeller, and everything in between. It’s a true one-woman operation!
Starting my own small business has given me a whole new appreciation for the phrase “support local.” Every like, follow, share, recommendation, and purchase genuinely makes a difference, and I’m so grateful for every bit of support you’ve shown me.
