After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that the time has come to retire The Crafty Beer Guy.
It’s been a fantastic 7 years, I’ve loved meeting everyone and I’ve really enjoyed the markets with you all!

I’ve just been informed by a fellow trader that he’s had a personal best day and that I need to bring my ‘A’ game if I’m to beat him in our weekly takings battle!

Find us tomorrow at Shire Hall Monmouth as part of Monmouthshire Markets from 9am for all of your needs!

Please accept my apology for the lateness of this particular post.

I would you like to wish all of you, my followers and valued customers, a happy new year and I hope 2024 goes well. I hope you all had a fantastic festive period, and I hope that you all drank responsibly!

2023 for us has been a tough year but rest assured we will be continuing on into 2024! It has had its good parts, and its bad parts, but I am not letting a few setbacks get in the way of doing what I absolutely love...being The Crafty Beer Guy!

We have lots of plans for 2024, of which you will see the results of very soon! I don't want to give too much away for now but please keep your eyes peeled on here as the first things will be coming your way hopefully next week!

As The Crafty Beer Guy I don't just want to sell beer; I want to provide you all with the best all-round service possible. This includes tasting videos so you can see exactly what you are buying. Hopefully these will result in you enjoying your beer of choice to the fullest and getting the best experience possible out of glass of beery goodness!

I will leave it there for now but I wish you all the best for 2024 and I thank you for your continued support. Without you, my lovely customers, we would not be able to do what we love doing!

WE ARE OPEN TODAY - CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!

Seasons greetings one and all! We are open today at Shire Hall Monmouth for last minute alcohol supplies and emergency presents!

We are until around 2pm (ish).

The Soap Foundry is also here so pop down and say hello 🙂.

Just a reminder that we are NOT trading today. This is a planned (and well needed) holiday.

When we return though we will have the German and Belgian beer back in stock, and Stewart from Woofys Brewery will be coming to see us and hopefully we’ll have some new local beer in stock!

Unfortunately we WILL NOT be trading tomorrow, Saturday 28th October 2023 on Monmouth Shire Hall Market.

Craftus has not been a well man this week and spent most of last weekend (after the market) under care by the NHS.

Hopefully next week all will be back to normal - we will keep you all posted.
