BIG NEWS… WE ARE RELOCATING!

We are so excited to announce that we will soon be moving to our new home at:

📍 140 Huddersfield Road, Mirfield

This move is a huge positive step for us and will allow us to enhance and improve everything we already do.

Our new space will allow us to:
✨ Support even more local makers and artists
✨ Expand our pantry of locally sourced food and drink
✨ Introduce our new refillable product range
✨ Continue building the community focused space we are passionate about creating

We truly feel this new location is better positioned for both ourselves and our customers, and we cannot wait to welcome you through the doors.

During the next month there may occasionally be short periods where the shop is closed while we move between the two premises, but we will endeavour to keep 116 Huddersfield Road open as much as possible throughout the transition.

Thank you all so much for your continued support. This next chapter would not be possible without you.

Book a wood turning session at Yorkshire Makers, Mirfield now!
For £89, you can get a 3 hour course, with tea and coffee provided. You’re guaranteed to go home with at least one item you made yourself!
For £139, you can take the 6 hour course, which provides drinks and lunch, and will end up taking home at least 2 items!

Ben is looking for a joinery apprenticeship and he 18 today!

A little shout out for our Ben! Ben is 18 today and we wanted to give him a special mention.

As most of you know, Ben works with us at the OC and has done for the last 6 months, alongside working at Yorkshire Makers since he was 15.

Now he’s 18, he’s looking for a joinery apprenticeship and we’d genuinely love to help him find the right opportunity.

Ben is one of the hardest working young people we’ve come across. Reliable, polite, funny, and always willing to get stuck in, whether that’s behind the bar, helping customers, or just cracking on with whatever needs doing.

He’s the type of lad who turns up early, works hard, and gets on with everyone. We honestly couldn’t speak more highly of him and would back him 100%.

So if anybody knows of a joinery apprenticeship, or is looking to take somebody on, please tag them in the comments or drop us a message and we’ll happily put you in touch.
