And we are off. A week late because of machinery 😣 so we are carefully hand sorting as we hand pick these pears. Di pictured has been doing it for 52 years!. And so starts our 3 month pomme fruit harvest. A very unusual, very early one but we are sure to have some interesting fruit and experimentation to come. We only shake at the start of the season when it’s warm and the bonds haven’t broken and the fruit hangs instead of falls. 💥
