PLEASE NOTE THE CONFIRMED TIMES FOR THIS EVENING.

I will be closing to the general public at 6pm and reopening for the gig at 7.30pm. Please ensure you have your tickets available as they will be checked (for those who purchase tickets through me, I have your names on a list).

Please don’t arrive earlier as I will be moving furniture around and the bar will be closed (unless you’re lending a hand 😉😉).

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who paid us a visit and MAHOOSIVE thanks to Jam Master Just for his epic vinyl DJ set on Saturday night. It was the perfect vibe for our quirky little bar.

A few things to note this week:

📚 Silent Reading Club is full this week. If you've booked your spot, turn up from 6.30pm. If you can no longer make it, please let me know as I have a waitlist.

🎵I will be closing at 5.30pm on Thursday to set up for Gabriel Moreno Album Launch party. Tickets are sold out so if your name's not down, you're not getting in.

⛔️ I will be closed all day on Saturday 19th April.

Good Friday and Easter Sunday hours : 12pm to 9pm.

🤫🤫 Go easy on me on Sunday as I may be a little bit hungover 🥴😵‍💫

It's here - Record Store Day 2025.

I have a teeny tiny amount of the DEYA Brewing Company Record Store Day pale left - the first people to order it, will be the last.

I also have a collection of vinyl LP'S and singles to peruse and purchase, courtesy of Vintage by the Sea

Jam Master Just will be spinning the wheels of steel tonight from 7pm. Expect a pinch of pop, a smackeral of soul, a finger of funk and a whole lot of hip hop!!
Til then, I will be playing Record Store Day UK playlists all day.

Closing at 10.30pm. Come celebrate the authentic warmth and crackle of vinyl.

DEYA Brewing Company, in collaboration with Record Store Day UK, have released a super smashable 4% pale ale, just in time for . And it's pouring in *PINTS* now and all weekend (or as long as it lasts).

Disclaimer: other beers are available, as are other wonky measures 😉🤣

It looks like the sun is staying with us, the benches are outside (make the most of it cos the Square redevelopment starts next week 😬) and tomorrow is the all vinyl DJ set. What a weekend!

You lot almost drank me dry last night - what a welcome back after a weekend off!

So we’re starting with 4 new beers, 1 returning beer and 1 new cider.

Tap 1 is Seacider Dark Cherry flat cider
Tap 3 is the second keg of Deya Soul Searching
Tap 4 is Fields #1 (pale) from Beak
Tap 6 is Fields #2 (IPA)
Tap 7 is Fields #3 (DIPA)
and
Tap 10 is DDF Churros from Vault City, coming in at a banging 15%!!!

Beak are currently my favourite brewery and this trio of beers is tasting awesome. Cans are also available to take away.

A reminder that I’m closed this Saturday from 6pm for a private party (50th birthday shenanigans, anyone?! 😉🤭) so get in early doors.

Anyone who knows me, knows I love a good "cow shed" beer - and this is one of the best I've tasted since Verdant's Passing Thoughts.

Gravity Well Brewing Company Wiccan Liquor V2. I mean, look at that colour 😍 👊🏻
Citra and loads of NZ hops (Nelson Sauvin and Manalita) make this a super juicy banger of a beer, and at only 5% it's also (almost) sessionable!

Grab a can while stock lasts - and definitely before Friday as I'm closed this weekend (Fri to Sun inclusive).

Who knew that International Waffle Day was a real thing??

But it is, and it's today, so what better way to celebrate than with beer?!

Vault City Brewing Fruits of the Forest Triple Stacked Breakfast Waffle sour beer, to be precise.

Packed with blackberries, rhubarb, strawberries, apples and raspberries, topped off with maple syrup, vanilla and sweet waffles - this is just heavenly 😋 😍 Although, at 10.3%, it's a little bit hellish too 🤣😈🤣

New beer on Tap 3 today ... and it's one of the best sub-4% pale ales on the market - DEYA Brewing Company Soul Searching. Citrussy, light and refreshing and super smashable. This is pure sunshine in a glass.
