Bethany Black is brilliant comedian, actor and writer from Preston, critically acclaimed for her personal, confessional style of comedy. She has been a firm favourite on the UK stand-up comedy circuit for over a decade.

📺 You may have seen her in such TV shows as "Banana”, Tofu" and "Cucumber" by Russell T Davies for Channel 4, for which she won awards, and also as a guest star in "Doctor Who"!

Bethany has also has written for "Frankie Boyle's New World Order" plus a whole bunch of comedy panel shows.

She's dark, honest and sharply funny, and we can't wait to meet her at our Comedy + Beer Night #2!

🎙️❤️ Meet Your Opening Act!

Sheffield comic Tom Wrigglesworth first made waves in 2009 with his brilliant Edinburgh Fringe show "An Open Return Letter to Richard Branson", which was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award and won the Chortle Award for Best Show. This led to two highly acclaimed BBC Radio 4 series "Open Letters" and "Hang-Ups".

📺 Tom has also appeared on such TV shows as the BBC's "Engineering Giants" and "Electric Dreams", and on Paramount Comedy's "Live at the Comedy Store" and "Edinburgh Comedy Live".

He's clever, charming, and very, very funny, so we are more than delighted to welcome him to Slaithwaite for our Comedy + Beer Night #2!

Our bright, fruity Berliner, based on a classic German recipe. Nearly always with raspberry, and this time with a generous helping of blackberries! Fruitier than ever, tart, juicy and super refreshing coming in at 3% - pretty sure this is the best one yet! Very pink!
