Graham, the Head Brewer at Weldon Brewery will be at the Village Store stall tomorrow between 2 and 3pm. If you are interested in the brewing process or the ingredients that go into their brews come along and have a chat. We will also be sampling some of the range that is available in the shop.

We now have cardboard carriers for the Weldon Brewery beer. With Fathers Day coming up, why not buy some bottles, add a carrier and give as a gift. Three or four bottles of your choice at £3.50 per bottle and just an extra £1.25 for the carrier.

Due to the success of our first range of handmade sunglass cases we now have new stock of different designs for £4. The cases can also be used for phones. We also have bookmarks made by the same person at only £1.50 each and more designs of the tissue holders (including tissues) for £2.

A reminder for Shareholders of Cottingham and Middleton Village Shop and Café Limited that tomorrow (Monday 18 May) is the last date for you to return your voting paper for the shop AGM, if you can’t make the AGM on Tuesday 19 May at 6pm at the Village Hall. Or you can pop your completed voting paper in the box at the shop, where blank voting papers are also available for you to fill in.
