After nearly 10 years, we’re handing over the keys to McMillans of Malton and The Library Bar to a new owner.

What started small became something far bigger than a shop or a bar, it became a community.

To everyone who supported us, bought from us, drank with us, cheered us on and became friends along the way: thank you.

Our final day will be 15th April.

COMING SOON! Meet our FIRST Local Food Hero on our FIRST Cook’s Walk!

We’re so excited to share that on Saturday 25 April we will be hosting our first monthly Cook’s Walk! Gilly, your host will lead you on a behind the scenes walking tour featuring culture, art and the history of Malton. Of course, we’ll always be about the food and drink, and we’ll be inviting our Food Heroes along for lunch with you too!

*We’ll be sharing all the dates with you very soon – so watch this space!*

Our first tour Food Hero will be Justin from Staal Smokehouse. For 15 years, this family business has been sharing award winning, hand smoked products from their smokehouse near Beverley, and a short way from the East Yorkshire coastline. Come join Justin for lunch at our first ever Cook’s Walk, you’ll be able to book very soon!
