Meat delivered from local butchers Rob Rattray from Aberystwyth an Bow Street butcher. Local pork sausages and burgers from local Tyn Y Gors, Ynyslas. Local bacon and mutton from Dulas in Machynlleth. Local organic milk from Llaeth Jenkins Milk, 2 miles away. Delicious preserves and chutneys made by our "Jambusters" team of volunteers. ery of sourdough on a Friday morning from local bakers, Rye & Roses. Fresh british floweres from Grace & Crabb when available. A great selection of home made cakes made on site. Welsh chocolate from Gwynedd confectionary & Richard Spencer's lovely honey from Taliesin. Einions Garden from Furnace supply us with salad leaves, squashes, tomatoes and corguettes in season, they do not use any artificial pesticides, so you can be sure your 5 a day are even better for you. Many more of the local residents grow and supply the shop with an assortment of salads, vegetables, fruits and flowers from their own gardens. These include produce you just can't buy in the supermarkets, like the rightly famous Bardsey apples. We can send you home with a fabulous array of Welsh produce from the essentials like bread, milk, butter and eggs all the way up to sea salt, handmade soaps, local organic milk, speciality cheeses, loads of local beers and even gorgeous sparkling wine. We stock an assortment of organic, gluten- and dairy-free products along with refills for Ecoleaf laundry, handsoap, fabric conditioner and washing up liquid, just bring your own 1tr bottle. If all you want is your daily paper, bin bags and a can of baked beans we're happy to supply you with these too! Our cafe currently offers indoor and lots of outdoor dining plus takeaways. Menu includes soup, with vegan option, sausage (including vegan), bacon and egg sandwiches, plus pre-made cold sandwiches. Hot food til 3pm Mon-Sat & 2pm Sundays. From 11th April we will be offering breakfasts again. We are proud to say that with the exception of the bread we make all of our baked goods on site. Always something on offer that's gluten-free and/or vegan. Proper cakes, made with real butter, free-range organic eggs, a wealth of experience... and love. Brought man's best friend with you? Well behaved dogs are welcome in our covered outdoor seating area. We have plenty of outdoor seating in our Pollinator Friendly Garden. We can always send you on your way with a hot or cold drink, a pre made sandwich ...and of course directions to the best local walks and beaches. We also hold many events from music nights to weekly groups, please check out our website for current events.

We are asking our friends, supporters and customers from all over the UK, to help Cletwr out again this Spring.

Cashflow at Cletwr is a real challenge currently, coming out of a winter with high energy costs and lower visitor numbers. It is clear that this valued community facility needs more than passing and local income to provide the range of services it offers. Donations are an essential part of sustaining Cletwr and all it does for locals and visitors alike.

This crowdfunder is part of a wider plan to raise additional funds, reduce costs further, and increase turnover.

Over the coming weeks we'll post more to show the different ways Cletwr contributes to our community.

🤡😆Are you visiting the Comedy Festival this weekend? Having a good time?
Are your laughter muscles getting tired? Do you need a bit of a break from the hilarity?

Why not pop down to Caffi Cletwr in Tre'r Ddôl for a bit of down time. We're half way (9 miles) south down the road to Aberystwyth

We're an award-winning, community-owned cafe and shop. There's even a nice wooded valley by the river to go for a walk

Shop is open 9-5.30 every day, caffi 9.30-4 (kitchen closes at 2.30)
