Next week we be closing on Wednesday at lunchtime until after the May Fair, reopening on Wednesday 6th May.

Bentley’s Wine will remain closed today. Opening tomorrow, Saturday 10th January at 10.00 as usual.

Happy New Year to all our customers, past, present and future.

The shop will be open on 2nd and 3rd January and then closed next week until Friday the 9th, when we open again. Through January we will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Tomorrow evening, Friday 7th, is our Tasting event in the Assembly Rooms. We have a selection of wines from around the world, including local ones, as well as Vintage Champagne, Ports and Whiskies. There are some old favourites of ours as well as new additions not yet on our shelves.

We have a few tickets left so if you have a spare couple of hours from 6.00pm to 8.00pm, pop into the shop today or tomorrow to pick up a ticket or two. It’s a great opportunity to try things you have not tried before.
Tickets are £15 each.

A date for your diary.

On the 7th November in the Assembly Rooms from 6.00pm to 8.00pm we will be hosting our winter wine tasting event.

Tickets are now available in the shop until they are sold out.

£15.00 per person.

Would you like to try a selection of the wines we offer? We have organised a tasting event where we will be showcasing about 35 wines, half of which are new to us including many award winners.
Expert advice will be on hand from our suppliers too.

Limited tickets are available for purchase in our shop on the square. For just £15 it’s a great opportunity to taste wines you may not have considered before, get yours before they are gone.
