Bottle Apostle opened in July 2009 at our Victoria Park location with the philosophy that a wine shop could cater as much to the wine novice as it does to the seasoned tippler. We aim to carry a broad range of wines at various price points and believe anyone should be able to buy a great bottle at a competitive price, without compromising on flavour or quality. All the wines sold in our shop and o

nline are colour-coded, food matched and concisely described. Visitors can sample from a rotating selection of wines in our self-service Enomatic® tasting machines. If you still have trouble deciding, then our qualified winos are on hand to share their knowledge - with none of the attitude. With a view to reward customers, we also offer loyalty cards offering a discount after you've collected 9 stamps. Be sure to keep an eye out for our regular wine tastings, supper clubs featuring award-winning chefs as well as free tastings on Friday evenings as well! Shops now found in Hackney (E9), Crouch End (N8), Clapham (SW4), East Village (E20) and Primrose Hill (NW1).

🍾✨️Champagne Guenin - New to our grower shelves✨️🍾

Tucked in the village of Essoyes at the southern edge of Champagne, the Côte des Bar is a world apart from the grand négociant houses of Reims and Épernay. Closer to Chablis than to the Marne Valley, it shares the same Kimmeridgian limestone soils that lend the region's wines their mineral edge and cool-climate precision — and it has long been celebrated as a heartland for fiercely independent growers.

The Guenin family is one such story, with a lineage of winemakers stretching back to the 1600s. Today the domaine is in the hands of Sebastien (11th generation) and his wife Axelle, who produced their first vintage together in 2015. Production is kept deliberately small at just 20,000 bottles per year, the vineyards are certified organic since 2024, and every cuvée is vinified in 100% oak with zero dosage — an uncompromising approach that still enables the terroir speak for itself. We tasted through the range and came away genuinely moved by the precision, length and poise of each wine. 😋

We're looking for a new MANAGER to join our Victoria Park Village site. This shop is near and dear to our hearts as the first to open back in 2009. We're after someone that can take on and lead a busy shop as we head into 🌳peak park season🌳, all while continuing to build on the relationships we've established with our community over the last 17 years. 🤝
