[Bio by Aniket; caption by Meagan and Michele]

Sun’s out, buns out! Last but certainly not least, all hail Lord Arjun Gunalan, El Presidente Arjuzz Gunaluzz’s highly anticipated comeback as LSE A. His mob of adoring fans will be at the edge of their seats for the legendary Malaysian fashion icon to defy not only gravity, but also all the opponents unfortunate enough to face him this Euros (despite still being incredibly pookie).

Fun fact: He’s fluent in 5 languages and knows more Cantonese swear words than me

[Bio by Arjun; caption by Meagan]

Buckle up, we’re getting to the big guns now— the first member of LSE A, our resident super senior, Aniket! Don’t be too intimidated, though, by his vast resume of debate victories and his finance bro LinkedIn warrioring. He’s kind of like Superman: when undercover as a civilian, Aniket listens to Chappell Roan religiously, he’s really into reels brainrot, and his go-to Leon order is a vanilla syrup oat milk iced latte…

Fun fact: Ask him about his tiered ranking list of train systems around the world

✨🍵💪ANNOUNCING LSE’S EUDC 2025 CONTINGENT (4/6)
[Bio by Priyansh; caption by Michele]

Romania’s most employed individual has returned for his final hurrah for LSE before he ‘retires’ from debate by leaving us and debating for a different university, though as long as the Holy Trinity (LG, Blank Street and Eat Tokyo) aren’t in Oxford he will still be lingering around the London circuit. A man who unironically loves his morning matcha and listens to Olivia Rodrigo, he may potentially be an even bigger feminist than Rayaan.

Fun fact: I personally witnessed him write his entire dissertation in 3 days. He was up 25 hours straight to get it done the day before the deadline. Terrifying work.

[Bio by Stefan; caption by Michele]

The law students/mooters following this account may recognise his name. That’s right, Priyansh is back for another majors run after pretty much maxing out every accomplishment a law student can only dream of. Now he has returned for one final uni W before he moves on to bigger and better things (a Magic Circle TC).

Fun fact: He’s an F1 fan and told me to include this in his post.

[Bio and caption by Michele]

It’s our favourite feminist podcast host Rayaan! Fun fact: Mr Charming over here is a poet. He’s also 6’5 (dubious), wears black nail polish and is an aspiring barrister. Did I also mention he hosts a feminist podcast? LSE is so blessed to have the King of Feminism on our contingent. Hopefully the pedo-stache/tank top thing doesn’t actually happen, otherwise Rayaan might find himself ironing this Euros.

✨💕🌟ANNOUNCING LSE’S EUDC 2025 CONTINGENT (1/6)
[Bio by the actual Meagan; caption by Stefan]

Introducing the more responsively inclined member of LSE C... It’s Michele! Will she keep her majors break record at 100? Will she be rage baited into going missing on a Danish Pastry Run? We frankly do not know. What we do know is that she will serve fits and deploy her precise responses, big brain framing and encyclopedic knowledge of pop culture (actually brainrot) to make sure her euros run will be more successful that her ill fated summer job hunt

Fun fact: Unfortunately Michele is managing this account...her Canva crashed in the middle of making these posts :_)

Over the winter break, LSE competed in the World University Debate Championships (WUDC) in Panama City 🇵🇦🌟

We had so much fun meeting new debaters from many different institutions (shoutout to Harvard and Cornell!) as well as exploring the city itself. From gathering spec at the museum, exploring the famous Canal, to even eating the Panamanian version of Chinese dimsum- we made countless memories we’ll never forget! ✈️☀️🌅

In terms of results, LSE A broke 38th in the Open category and advanced to Octofinals!

We had an amazing time and are looking forward to seeing you all next year! 👋
