We started the month of October with a discreet but exceptional event at James J. Fox as we sampled a classic Habanos S.A. cigar with a flight of exclusive wh**ky. Presenting this soiree were The Wh**ky Exchange and Dawn Davies MW as we enjoyed an aged Montecristo No.2 from 2018 with five bottlings that are either limited or not yet released at the time. Our Master of Habanos cigar expert Nic Barker started proceedings with explaining the Piramide in his own words with what to expect with the cigar after eight years of aging.

Fox. We look forward to seeing you again soon. It was great to meet some of the biggest Wh**ky enthusiasts from around the world and for them to join us for such a wonderful evening. With many of the guests walking into our shop for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Cohiba 60 & Día de la Independencia Celebration Event - Thursday 8th October 2026 6:30pm

The day following the official launch with Hunters & Frankau we will be hosting an exclusive sampling event on Thursday 8th October at our renowned cigar shop and sampling lounge on St James’s Street. Ticket available online now or contact us for more information.

Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the new Habanos SA Oficial Cohiba Talisman Línea Clásica, paired with Eminente and accompanied with the traditional Cuban cocktail, Canchanchara. A selection of canapés will also be served throughout the evening. Guests will also receive a glass of ch*****ne on arriving to the lounge with a Cohiba Siglo I.

We are delighted to be joined by Sean Croley, Director at Hunters & Frankau as he will introduce the cigar to guests on the evening. We are also delighted to welcome Luca Brancaleoni, Brand and Business Development Manager from Moet Henessey who will be presenting Eminente rum, including the new second edition Gran Reserva.

Only Guests who attend the event will receive the cigar.

As part of our Limited Edition Monogram collection, we are delighted to present the second James J. Fox and S.T Dupont collaboration.

The Ligne 2 Lighter and Cutter/Stand pair, presented in a custom made black lacquered display case, are limited to just fifty pieces. Each Lighter, Cutter and box has its unique set number out of 50.

The set has a distinctive lacquered finish, decorated with a repeating monogram pattern.  They are printed grey on a black, with one gold monogram picked out in gold at the base of both lighter and cutter. Each piece is finished with a gold, diamond-point, guilloche cap.

A great summer evening with ci**rs and Mezcal was the setting at James J. Fox for an event on the Blackened’s Rock & Smoke Tour. To a full house of guests (even though England were playing DR Congo at the same time) we were delighted to welcome Rob Dietrich, Master Blender of Blackened Ci**rs and Wh**ky, and Drew Estate representatives Ricardo Ortiz and David Cruz. We sampled two ci**rs – Shade S84 Corona and Maduro M81 Robusto, with a special yet-to-be-released Blackened Maduro Lancero gifted to guests on the evening.

Joining us from Amber Bev, providing the expertise on Se Busca Mezcal was Renato Di Rosa and Adam Wyatt. An expertly created mezcal negroni with glasses of the Joven, Anejo and the distinctive Madrecuishe were paired with the ci**rs.

It was particularly pleasing to welcome many first-time attendees to a James J. Fox event. We extend our thanks to all who joined us and contributed to the great atmosphere on the evening. Thank you to Tor Imports, especially Alfonso Scherzi, for their support on the evening and congratulations to Drew Estate and Tor for a great UK cigar tour.
