๐ฟ A Taste of Sardinia โ Welcoming Audarya to Alivini ๐ท
Weโre proud to welcome Audarya, an outstanding family-run winery from Serdiana, in the province of Cagliari, to the Alivini portfolio.
Audarya is rooted in the sun-drenched hills of Parteolla, a historic region in southern Sardinia known not only for its winemaking and centuries-old olive groves, but also for its rich cultural heritage. Just a few minutes away lies Dolianova, home to Argiolas Formaggi, another esteemed Sardinian producer of traditional local cheeses (see our post from last week).
The area is dotted with nuraghe โ fascinating prehistoric stone towers unique to Sardinia, and powerful symbols of its ancient civilisation.
In this unique landscape, shaped by tradition and nature, Audarya cultivates native Sardinian grape varieties such as Cannonau, Vermentino, Monica, Nuragus, and Bovale. Their vineyards benefit from Mediterranean breezes and limestone-rich soils, producing wines that are elegant, expressive, and full of character.
Each bottle is also brought to life with modern and charming label designs, created by Nicoletta Pala and Salvatore Pala Audarya, the sibling duo behind the winery. They wanted labels that reflect the fairytale essence of their wines, blending youthful imagination with ancestral tradition. The whimsical illustrations reflect Audaryaโs soulful, story-driven approach โ a nod to Sardiniaโs traditions reimagined with youthful creativity.
A special thanks to Mauro Segatta, whose keen eye and passion for quality led us to discover this extraordinary winery โ another gem from the land where wine, culture, and beauty go hand in hand.
Benvenuti, Audarya! ๐
