Vintage Port is only produced in exceptional years, and the 2024 vintage has already attracted considerable attention from critics and collectors. We’re delighted to offer additional stock from this highly regarded vintage, including a limited-edition mixed case from Symington Family Estates.

As our Co-CEO, Rob Symington (of Symington Family Estates), puts it: “In the past, the Port houses only declared a vintage three times a decade because the w**e just wasn’t good enough. Now it’s good enough every year. It’s great. But that presents a different challenge, of whether or not to respect the status quo, to still only declare the very best. That’s what we do at Symington Family Estates, which is why we waited so long after 2017 to declare the 2024 vintage. The 2024s are simply that good – it was a year when the stars just aligned.”

Our Autumn auction – including 1947 Cheval Blanc and René Engel – is now live.

Two magnums of 1947 Château Cheval Blanc take centre stage, but there’s plenty more to discover alongside that. For instance, our special bicentenary Château Montrose box lot includes three large-format bottles of the 2014, ‘15 and ‘16 vintages, a beautiful games compendium made by craftsmen at Hector Saxe and a limited-edition book on the history of the château.

On top of that, the winning bidder will win a tour at Château Montrose, including an exclusive tasting for four people. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure something very special for yourself. Bid now via the link in our bio.

Last night, we hosted a very special charity auction dinner in our Napoleon Cellar at No.3 St James’s Street, as part of our Road to £1 million.
Through the generosity of our customers, colleagues, producers, partners and friends, the evening has so far raised £186k for My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, supporting vital research into motor neurone disease.
As our colleague and friend Davy Żyw often reminds us, this disease is not incurable, it is just underfunded. He added “I am immensely proud that we are now within touching distance of raising £1 million for MND research.”
Heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the evening such a success.

Discover South Africa. From the pioneering work of the New Wave movement to today’s exciting generation of w**emakers, South Africa has joined the ranks of the world’s great fine-w**e producers.

Banele Vakele is one of South Africa’s rising stars. Having come up through the Cape W**emakers Guild Protégé Programme, he then spent seven years as Duncan Savage’s assistant w**emaker before setting off on his own with Tembela W**es. He makes beautiful, fresh w**es from Chenin Blanc and Syrah and has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.

Marielise Niemann was inspired by the Grenache grape after spending time in Priorat where, along with Eben Sadie, she was impressed by the high quality of its old vine fruit. She continues to make delicious, balanced and fragrant w**es from this grape today.

Hannes Storm makes breathtaking Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, and has just been named W**emaker of the Year in Tim Atkin MW’s 2026 South Africa Special Repor

W**emaker Jean Smit worked all around the world, and then for ten years at Boekenhootskloof, before setting up Damascene with co-founder David Curl. His w**es are utterly fascinating and tell the story of different vineyards in different regions all around the Western Cape.

Duncan Savage had already made his name as w**emaker at Cape Point Vineyards before setting up his own project, Savage W**es, in 2016. His range of glorious, fresh and pure reds and whites are now eagerly anticipated on their annual release, whilst his Salt River Sauvignon Blanc is one of the most restrained and mineral expressions of this variety in South Africa.

Eben Sadie is the legendary pioneer of modern day South African fine w**e, making his first vintage of his celebrated Columella w**e in 2000. His highly sought-after w**es come from old vine sites across the Swartland which have an unrivalled tension, balance and poise.

South African Chris and American Andrea Mullineux met whilst working as travelling w**emakers and set up their own project in 2007. Together, they explore different expressions of the unique terroir of the Swartland. They have been named ‘W**ery of the Year’ five times by Platter’s W**e Guide an

Meet Georgia Mehlhopt, award-winning head w**emaker at Greystone W**es in New Zealand.
At just 30, Georgia has already won prestigious Young W**emaker of the Year and Young Viticulturalist of the Year awards – despite only being in the w**e industry for six years.
We’re proud to work with Georgia and the Greystone team on our Own Selection New Zealand Pinot Noir.
Want to learn more about Georgia’s journey and the story behind Greystone W**es? Head to the link in our bio.
