Hand-rolled in Honduras by the legendary Plasencia family, this dark, oily cigar starts with a rich Nicaraguan wrapper. It uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed binder and a filler core of Honduran and rare Panamanian to***cos. While Panamanian leaf is unusual in premium ci**rs, it adds a unique depth and smooth complexity to the smoke.

Each draw reveals a beautifully balanced flavour profile. Dried herbs, smoked hickory, and nutty richness take the lead. The Macanudo Emissary Espana Robusto showcases a carefully balanced five-country blend. At its core, a Havana seed to***co grows near the town of Riolobos, Spain. This region’s rocky soil and Mediterranean climate create a rich, distinctive flavour that’s impossible to replicate. Nearby olive groves and paprika pepper fields surround the crops, influencing the to***co’s character. Warm, dry summer days and mild nights help produce thick, oily leaves. La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull

The La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull introduces a fresh concept to La Flor’s lineup of fine ci**rs. Its size takes inspiration from an old cigar mold that Gomez discovered in Belgium. The name honours Andalusia, a nod to Spain, where Gomez was born. The matador silhouette on the band pays tribute to Andalusia’s rich history of bullfighting, while the striking green shade mirrors the colour of the Andalusian flag.

The design holds a deeper meaning. The font on the band replicates Pablo Picasso’s handwriting—an homage to his fascination with bulls—and the scrollwork draws from the intricate patterns on a bullfighter’s uniform. This blend of bold symbolism and subtle details reflects the cigar’s character, which balances strength and finesse, much like a bull and a matador.

Gomez and his son Tony worked closely to perfect the blend, resulting in a cigar that intrigues both in flavour and appearance. The cigar features a Corojo-seed Ecuador Habano wrapper over a predominantly Dominican Criollo ’98 blend, along with a hybrid to***co and a touch of Pelo d’Oro. They named the brand for Cuba, the largest of the Antilles Islands, which are called Antillas in their native Spanish.

The ci**rs are delicious from the first puff, with notes of nutmeg, white pepper and just enough strength without being overpowering. They start with the signature My Father spice with a rich cocoa flavour.
