Thank you to everyone for your kind words yesterday, we are both humbled and overwhelmed by the messages. It was definitely mixed feelings for us both to say our good byes. We've been privileged to have been a part of the village for such a long time .
We're both still going to be around as our love for the village won't keep us away, by helping out at the Richard Price centre.
We now welcome the new owners that we know are going to be awesome as your shopkeepers, keeping a family business going.
We wish them all the best for the future and welcome them into the lovely village we have.

So, today is our last day.
Thank you to all our customers for supporting us for the last 19 years at the shop.
It has been a pleasure to serve you all over the years but it's now time to hang our boots up.
From our first day to today we have seen young children growing up to be adults and met customers that come and go. It's been a journey we will never forget.
Shell has been with us for 19 years and Trevene for 15 years and will still be at the shop working. We would like to thank them personally for their hard work and dedication having to put up with us 😁.
We welcomed the new owners who you will meet tomorrow and wish them all the best in their new venture.
Unfortunately at some point this afternoon we will have to close the shop for the take over procedure but will be open as usual tomorrow.
We've both got mixed feelings but also looking forward to having us time. We'll still be around the village so you haven't quite got rid of us yet!

HALF DAY CLOSURE - STAFF TRAINING
Due to staff training the Practice will be closed on Tuesday 23rd May from 12.30pm onwards. We will reopen at 8.30am on Wednesday 24th May. During this time if you have a medical emergency, please call 999. If you have a medical concern that cannot wait until Wednesday 24th May, please call the usual surgery number and an alternative number will be available to our GP cover. You can call GP out of hours from 6.30pm on 111. Please remember you can use any pharmacy for access to advice for common ailments. Please note this service will not have access to your medical records and will not be able to issue repeat prescriptions.
