Another run of lovelies from . Choose from a Barley wine aged in Armagnac or Plum liqueur barrels, an imperial stout aged in a Banyuls fortified wine barrel and the most interesting- a Pedro Ximenez barrel aged stout fermented with brettanomyces yeast. Guess which one we’ll be including in our whisky and beer tasting next month.

Great day yesterday with who delivered a Beer and Music pairing tasting sponsored by . We provided four great beers including Hammerhead IPA from , Miners Pride stout by and Jager Weizen from . Great to choose some fantastic Welsh beers for a crowd of 50 festival goers. Pete will be in Beer Park at 2.30 on Monday for a beery chat. His new book on beer and music will be out in June but catch up on his Sunday Times column each week.

Short notice but next Monday we’ve persuaded Britain’s best beer writer Pete Brown to pop in as he’s passing through to chat about beer and his work for an hour or so. With a weekly beer column in The Sunday Times and a number of cracking books on beer, pubs and beer culture he’s been described as beers Bill Bryson. Delighted to see the arrival of the 12th Icon of Wales - Copperopolis with a Red Wine Finish. We'll be receiving this in early April but it's available on the website for pre-order now - we match the Penderyn price here. Order for collection or local delivery at no charge or national delivery at a small charge. We're also delighted to welcome Lee Morgan from Penderyn to launch the icon in Beer Park on the 2nd May at our legendary Whisky and Barrel Aged Beer night.
