At Tinopolis this evening providing a bar for a Carmarthen Bay Film Festival event where Director Dan Freeman was talking about his new Arthurian fantasy film ‘Excalibur’ set in North Wales and currently in pre-production. We were asked to source his collaboration beer brewed with obviously called ‘Excalibeer’. Promises to be an exciting Welsh film and film beers should be a thing.

We’re not blessed with many venues offering craft and cask beer in South West Wales so it’s important we give what we do have our support. Here’s a shoutout to three you’ve got to try. Firstly, the with an excellent of craft on tap and for takeaway - they also do pies and a belting Sunday lunch. Secondly, with a great rotating cask and cider list in Pen y Cae up the Swansea Valley. Finally Burry Port’s with a growing craft offer and the first appearance of their own beer.
