Bit of a trip out to Stratford on Avon for my wife’s birthday. A few of Mr Fuller’s and Mr Greene Kings best but delighted to get a Whale Sharks in (just missed The Don) and a Polly’s Double Floret from .cafe.bar. The former is still available in and for a mad moment I was thinking of putting it on Saturday on Vaughan Street but sense won. Back in Llanelli on Wednesday to welcome a bevy of new festbiers. See you then.

Curious about why Welsh pubs were forced to shut on Sundays ? The legislation wasn’t finally repealed until 22 years ago this week so seemed an appropriate moment to publish a blog. Have a read and if you’ve anything to add in your experience of this Welsh oddity put it in the comments. Click on beer blogs link on the home page of beerpark.co.uk.
