A great night. Out hosting a tasting in the Wine Library in Falkirk. The GlenAllachie drams were flowing and thoroughly enjoyed taking the audience through a speyside whisky journey of both unpeated and peated spirits.

Another superb Wee Whisky Social at The Willow Tree!

This time we were delighted to welcome Gordon Muir from Gordon & MacPhail Whisky, bringing with him six fantastic drams that had travelled all the way from their home in Elgin to delight our palates.

It was a proper journey of discovery, starting with a beautifully sherried 11 Year Old Bunnahabhain, followed by two huge cask-strength 15 Year Old Spirit of Scotland whiskies.

Next up was a 16 Year Old Glenburgie from the Connoisseur’s Choice range, before resetting the palate with Discovery Caol Ila and finishing in suitably big and bold fashion with a 19 Year Old Ledaig, also from Connoisseur’s Choice.

Dram of the night was Spirit of Scotland Glen Grant 2010 (15 Year Old)

Great whiskies, plenty of smiles, lots of great craic and, of course, plenty of discounted bottles heading home with our guests!

A huge thanks to Gordon for a fantastic evening and to everyone who came along and made it another memorable Wee Whisky Social.
