What a way to kick off our first-ever Hauf n Hauf pairing night! 🍺🥃

A huge thanks to Strangers Brewing for joining us alongside some fantastic local drams from Falkirk Distillery and Linlithgow Distillery with a smoky wildcard from Port Askaig Whisky thrown into the mix.

The line-up:

🥃 Falkirk Distillery Whisky × 🍺 Cockelroi

🥃 Four Marys Linkwood 13 Year Old (Linlithgow Distillery) × 🍺 Challenger Deep

🥃 Falkirk Distillery Kelpies Sherry Cask × 🍺 Bramble Pie

🥃 Port Askaig 100 Proof × 🍺 Lone Goose

There were plenty of favourites throughout the evening, but the clear winner was the rich, fruity combination of Falkirk Distillery Kelpies Sherry Cask and Bramble Pie.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a brilliant night of great whisky, exceptional beer and fascinating insights from the brewery and distilleries.

We’ve had so many exciting new products arrive recently, and we’ll be showcasing a number of them over the coming weeks.

While the latest releases from Decadent Drinks haven’t quite landed yet, the team had the pleasure of sampling some of the old and rare Whiskyland drams this evening.

Hosted by Angus and Julie, the highlight of the evening was a truly special dram – the oldest Glen Garioch ever bottled, aged an incredible 52 years. What a whisky!

Another batch of exhibitors has arrived!

The line-up for the 2026 Linlithgow Whisky Festival just keeps getting better.

Yes, you spotted it… there may be a rum making an appearance amongst all the whisky. With distilleries, independent bottlers and even a little something different, there’s plenty to discover on the day.

With Father’s Day approaching, we are delighted to have the first core range of Single Malts from Tormore Distillery in our wee shop!

The team at Elixir Distillers have released a 12 and a 15 Year Old, as well as a non age statement whisky.

These can only be bought in store, and will launch online 1st July.

We are now sold out for our first Hauf an Hauf tasting this Friday with the wonderful Strangers Brewing !

Sorry if you missed out this time, but we will have plenty events running throughout the year. Keep an eye on our website and social pages.

Just a wee reminder we are closed tomorrow, Tuesday 16th, for the Linlithgow Marches.
We are open until 6pm tonight if you need any last minute whisky, beers, wines and spirits.

We still have tickets available for our first ever Hauf an Hauf tasting in store on Friday 19th June at 630pm

We will be pairing the wonderful Strangers Brewing with local distilleries Falkirk Distillery and Linlithgow Distillery.
The team at Strangers will be chatting about their delicious beers and pairing chocies, and we will be talking you through the local whiskies (and one rouge Peaty one!)

It's sure to be another great night, we would love to see you in our Wee Whisky Shop then!
