French Rosé in beautiful East Sussex. Lazy Monday afternoons with Rosé Vin d’Une Nuit from available from The Fine Wine Importers. Delicious small red fruits, crisp and delicate in the mouth. Great with soft cheeses, olives and anchovies. Rosé with a rose petal color, with delicate aromas of citrus and red fruits.

We been very lucky recently tasting a couple of classics here at The Fine Wine Importers. The first from , Saint Estephe, from 1995. Intense black fruits, leather boots and lorry loads of spice. The second was from Chateau Lascombes, Margaux, 1985 from . Medium intensity, strong to***co and lighter fruit notes - very long on the finish. Both were shared with a large group who had varying feedback but all positive and was excellent with hand reared organic roast lamb from

Back in STOCK! Chateau Haut Pougnan 2020 vintage. It has a lot of stickers which has made it the subject of jokes from our customers but we always say reserve judgement until you have tried it. Now that the 2020 stock has landed, fresh off a lorry from the wilds of AOP Bordeaux, we’re chuffed to let our regulars know. Chateau Haut Pougnan 2020, Cuvée Prestige, Bordeaux, AOC. A classic Bordeaux mix of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Located between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers its limestone and gravel soils lend itself to the Merlot grape providing a rich fruity taste. Well balanced tannins with some vanillary notes after a year in oak barrels.
It is a multi award winning wine, with the 2020 vintage producing an authentic and unpretentious taste of an old fashioned Bordeaux family wine. Simply delicious. Order via our website or get in touch on here. £14.99 pb.

At The Fine Wine Importers we specialise in bringing you great wines at affordable prices. We work alongside small, independent wine producers, allowing them to focus on making their wines whilst we bring their fantastic produce to the UK wine drinker. By purchasing wine from The Fine Wine Importers you are helping these great independent wineries grow and keep them doing what they do best. Wine growing techniques are changing for the better and many of our producers now use alternative methods to the large wine producers which is better both for the environment and for us, the wine drinkers. These methods are used by many of our producers making natural, biologique and biodynamic wines.

We think we've got some pretty exciting finds, so if you're into trying something a bit different and supporting independent wineries then this is the wine site for you. With a few exceptions, most of our wines are available exclusively in the UK through The Fine Wine Importers.
