Happy face because today (nearly 18 months after completing the ) I finally finished a 5 Kilometre run in under 30 mins!!! For anyone who doesn’t know how C25K works, the programme focuses on the LENGTH OF TIME you run, not the distance. You start with running for a minute and by the end of the program your goal is to run for 30 mins without stopping. In principle that takes you to 5k. However frequently that does not happen and in my case it took me 40mins to complete 5k the first time I tried. Has taken me over a year and a half to knock 10 mins off my time but I finally did it!!!! Yay!!! Running has been such a game changer when it comes to my MH. I am so happy it finally found me and convinced me to carry on!!! Are you tempted to give it a go? Now off to London for a couple of days of grandma duties; another reason for my happy face!! X
