After seven years of giggles, we’ve closed the door for the last time.
We’re going to enjoy our long awaited retirement, and enjoy not needing to be up at the crack of dawn (well, one of us still will be!)
We’d like to thank each and every one of our customers for their custom, and treating us as friends. We’ve seen babies born and then set off on their first day of school. We’ve seen high school kids go off to university and start the career they dreamed of, couples meet and marry, and grieved with families at the loss of grandparents that first brought them in for sweets whilst waiting for a bus.
We never wanted to be a typical town centre shop that didn’t really know their customers, we always wanted to be a place where you could pop in, have a laugh or a moan, and walk out feeling a little better and appreciated. We think some of the more blue conversations definitely proved you were comfortable with us! You never knew what was going to come out next, even innocent random customers were dragged in to the fun and left tittering.
You lot are bloody terrible!!!
We wouldn’t change a one of you.
Thanks for all the beautiful flowers and gifts, (we’ve had so many, the vases had to be changed to large planters instead to fit them in over two houses!)
and above all, thanks for the memories.
