We are passionate about wine and make sure that all wine has been tasted and personally selected by our team before it hits the shelves. Should you wish for any advice on the wine, our staff will be on hand to share knowledge and experience of the wines in stock. Whether you need a food and wine match or a gift idea we will assist you in your decision. A key part to selecting the perfect wine is in tasting. At Wine and Whisky we have the latest technology in wine tasting. In the shop you will find our Enomatic wine dispenser which helps us to provide wine for you to try, and keeping the wine in its optimum condition. The dispenser holds 8 wines for you to enjoy, you will be able to try a small sample or if you wished you could have a glass. The machine operates with a smart card system, with each customer having their own card. The cards can be topped up in store. With the average sample costing 50p and the average 125ml glass costing £2.50. Whisky and queen of the moorlands;
In the shop you will find a wall dedicated to the vast and wonderful world of whisky. We have a selection of blended whisky, single malts, and world whiskies. As well as our very own independent whisky label. We also specialise in rare and collectable whisky. The queen of the moorlands is our own independent whisky label. We hand select and taste individual casks for a rare cask range, which come from various different distilleries including Caol Ila, Longmorn and Bruichladdich. We only have a limited number of bottles of any Rare Cask available at any one time. These whiskies are ideal for the serious whisky enthusiast or collector. In addition to the rare cask range we have a 10 year old and 15 year Speyside single malt that is available under the Queen of the Moorlands whisky label. Tastings
Fancy a chance to try wine, whisky or spirits you have never tried before than join our mailing list to keep up to date with our tasting events. We do events in conjunction with local restaurants and venues, where we offer food and wine tastings. We also offer an at home tasting service where we come to you equipped with wine, glasses and tasting notes. It’s not just wine we taste we regularly organise whisky tastings which normally include a meal in the tickets price. Offers and mixed case deals

We also offer a mixed case deal which is normally 6 white 6 red for £89.89, but if you so wished you could take any combination or all of wine sort.
