It is with great sadness that we share the details of the funeral for Christine Parker, a much-loved colleague and friend who dedicated over 50 years of service to the shop at 3 Tredgold Avenue.
Over the years, Christine witnessed many changes and became part of the lives of so many people in our community. She saw countless customers grow up from children into adults and many of those same customers now bring in children of their own. Her welcoming smile, kind nature and familiar presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Please see the attached poster for details of the funeral arrangements for anyone who would like to pay their respects.
The family have kindly requested that donations be made to the Stroke Association in Christine's memory. A collection will be taken at the funeral and for anyone unable to attend, we will also have a collection jar available at Yorkshire Corner.

Please note: Our Post Office side of the shop will be closed on the morning of Tuesday 8th September while our team attends the funeral.
